Welcome Letter

keck-otolaryngology-head-neck-surgeryDear Colleague,

Welcome to the third edition of KeckZine. As the new chair of the USC Tina and Rick Caruso Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Keck Medicine of USC, I want to introduce myself and start a conversation about how our expertise and technical capabilities can offer exceptional care to your patients with head and neck disorders.

I have spent my career developing comprehensive medical and surgical care strategies through an active clinical practice and research program. My primary goal is to help the Department actively pursue and apply innovative procedures and strategies that will improve patient care – and to bring these innovations to patients and referring physicians.

At Keck Medicine of USC, we aim to be a regional and national leader in treating patients with head and neck cancers. In this KeckZine issue, you will read about our comprehensive treatments for head and neck cancers, including transoral robotic surgery, our innovative research to detect head and neck cancers at an early stage and two support groups that we offer for patients and caregivers who have experienced head and neck cancers.

I hope you will find this publication to be informative about the resources available to you and your patients through Keck Medicine of USC. We look forward to working with you.

Sincerely,

keck-otolaryngology-john-oghalai-signature
